AF or implantation bleeding?

So I'm 99% sure AF came today :( but I was wondering what implantation bleeding is like?  Can it be heavy like a period and do you experience any cramping with the bleeding?  I guess I'm still hoping that it will only last a day and that there's still hope.  Thanks for any input.

Implantation bleeding typically only lasts 1-2 days.  It is usually very light bleeding and is "scanty" (spotty), pink or brown in color, and occurs about a week after implantation.  Heavy bleeding w/ cramping doesnt sound like implantation bleeding.

I have been trying to get pregnant which in itself can be a frustrating lol anyways I've been having pregnancy sypmtoms, vomitting, dizziness, crying for every single thing even a sappy advertisment, sore breast, headaches etc.   Well thing is my period came a day late started spotting, then came a bit heavier.. now usually my periods are heavy and have to change pads a least twice for the day.  I wasnt as heavy but I think fair enough to presume period, so I chucked up my symptoms to PMS and figured it will go away... no that my period is done within two days, I am wondering if in fact it was a period and not implantation, I know I have to test eventually but dont want to test just this moments since I have had in the past and gotten disappointing negatives.  However I still have sore breast, vomitting and all the other symptoms like before.  So I just wanted to know if this ever happened to anyone and what was the result.. Thanks for the listening ear or reading eyes in this case lol :)
