AF question

Does anyone else have a period that starts out as spotting - sometimes for days - maybe even a week then will go into the full flow?  My AF does this to me sometimes.  Always has but since I had my dd they were almost normal - then last month back to the same old lingering mess.  When is your AF considered to have started - during the first spot or when the real heavy flow starts?

I am TTC again and this does not make it easy.  ARGH!

I've always considered it from the first spot. Not sure if that helps. Hope things get better for you, goodluck lots of baby dust!
