Abdominal Discomfort in Early Pregnancy

Abdominal Discomfort in Early Pregnancy

I don't remember having this in my other 4 pregnancies.  With this one (I'm approx ending my 6th wk will start my 7th tomorrow based on LMP) I'm having pretty moderate discomfort in my insides.  Sometimes it's just a dull feeling, but other times its more prominent but feels like it's on one side or the other...usually my left...and almost like it's towards my back like my kidney.  It doesn't really feel like cramps either.  It's kind of hard to explain. Anyone else ever experienced this?

I had the cramping, having to pee, nauseous (sp?) all at the same time feeling.. maybe that is what is happening to you.  Alot of my pains have been extremely hard for me to pin-point.  This is my first pregnancy though.  I think the next pregnancy will be easier to determine what ales me.  =)

Have they checked your urine for infection yet?

no, I haven't been in to see a doc yet.  You'd think with this being my 7th pregnancy I could tell normal from abnormal LOL.  I have an appt at a free clinic this thursday (waiting for insurance to kick in) they will "confirm" the pregnancy and do an u/s to help with the dating.  HOPEFULLY then I can see if everything is alright or not.

I am also 7 weeks pregnant and have just been told I have a dermoid cyst on my right ovary. The pain you're describing sounds very much like the pain I experienced. Cysts are usually not much to worry about but unfortunately mine suffered torsion which means it twisted, twice! the pain was worse than child birth and if I can save anyone from the pain I would recomend you get checked out ASAP.

before it twisted however the pain was a dull constant aching feeling, worse than a period pain but not enough to have me doubled up. it went through to my back and eventually down to my thigh. I really think you should get it checked, just to ease your mind more than anything. Hope all works out for you and baby

I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago and am due to go to the dr. today. I have been experiencing discomfort in my abdomen and have had times throughout the day where I've been nauseous off and on for the past few days (morning sickness?). Twins are very common in my family and I'm curious if I may have lost one baby but retained the other? Two weeks ago when I visited the dr. my HCG level was at 25 and two days later it was a 5. Is it even possible to be pregnant? It all seems so strange to me. Please give me any information you may have.....
