Alcohal and TTC

This is a silly question, but is it bad to conceive while you have a few drinks in you?  The alcohal (alcohol) doesn't harm anything that early does it?  I know not to drink during the 2WW.  Thanks!

I think that the alcohol would not have any effect until the egg has actually implanted.  So if you drank the night you were to conceive it should have no effect.  I am a little more cautious and avoid alcohol the entire time I am ttc unless I have AF just because you can never actually be sure of when you actually ovulated.

I had a 1/2 of a wine cooler and about 2 or 3 sips of chamagne on New Years Eve and I would have become pg on Dec 21 or 23 or so is that going to hurt me????  I did a very selfish thing.  I was not going to drink because I knew there was a chance I could be pg but I had a miscarriage in Sept and seeing that my sister smokes with her pg and is still ok I think I did it kind of out of anger.  I still feel really guilty about it.  I just hope it won't hurt anything.  I mean it wasn't really a lot.  Thanks for listening.

There is always a risk but there are so many women that drink in the first couple weeks to a month without even knowing they are pregnant and the majority of the time all is well.  I would not let it worry you.
