Allergy question..

so i'm 99.9% sure that my daughter has allergies... her eyes are always red, puffy and black underneath.. she is constantly rubbing her eyes and nose... and is either stuffed up or her nose is running... i want to make an appointment with her ped.. but is there really anything that they can do for her? she is a year old.. so is there meds. they can give to her for it?

Jayden has allergies also.  I think they can tell you to give benadryl but I'm not sure if that's the best drug out there.  Jayden just deals with it but I always feel so bad.

yeah.. they told  me to give benadryll to her before.. but im leary because it says under 2 should not take it on the bottle..

I'm not sure what else there is other than that.  I wished my son didn't get my allergies.  It's torment.

I just posted yesterday about Colten going to a pediatric allergist-  but got no response-  I give him zyrtec, she said 1/2 a tsp a day is good, and to keep giving it to him-  she also gave me nasonex-  I gave it to him yesterday for the first time and he seemed to do fine on it- i was just wondering if anyone else gave their kids these things too...  it seemed to help,  he slept all night, I think because he could breath better...  

he is 17 months.

jezi- yeah.. i don't know either since they are still little.. i hate that she allergies.. she is so miserable right now..

tator-- i wonder if i could give that to my daughter.. ill have to ask the ped when i get the appointment..
