Almost 33 wkd pregnant with...

I'm nearly 33 wks preg... And I've been having Braxton hicks contractions for about a month but the past two and half hours they've felt different they don't go away when I walk and my back hurts really bad during the contractions.. And I just feel like something isn't right.. This is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me.. I'm just worried I'm in pre term labor.. Please tell me what you think

You should let your doc know what you are experiencing. You could also go into the hospital and get a non-stress test too and they could monitor what you are feeling. Your doc will probably want to do an internal and check to see if you are dilating at all. See too if you can put up your feet and see if by resting your contractions subside. True labor won't stop, it'll keep on going and get stronger. Don't chance it, though, since it is your first pregnancy, you don't yet have a history of how soon you may deliver.

I agree with Nicole. I would definately call the doctor or the hospital (you could even speak to a nurse) and explain whats happening. Usually if you feel uneasy about it, thats enough to warrant a phone call to the obgyn or hospital. And definately putting your feet up and relaxing (as best you can) would not hurt at this point.
