Am I Pregnant?

Hi,
This is my first post...me and my husband have been trying to concieve (conceive) for 3 months, my perids are very very regular (28) days. I was due on 3rd June 06, today is 6th June this is late for me....so I did Preg test (EPT and First response) both came positive...saying I am preg....I went to doc office yesterday and she told negative.....How long do I have to wait to get a confirm result? Also I never spot....since yesterday I am noticing some brown spotting....is this implantation bleeding ??and I have minor cramps too....am I preg...when can I know for sure?

Did your doctor do a urine test or a blood test?  

If the doctor only did a urine test then I would definitely ask for a blood test (due to your two postive hpt's) to see what is going on.  It is possible you had a chemical pregnancy but the only way to know exactly what's happening is to have at least 1 blood test.  You'll need a second one, if the first one comes back positive, to see if the levels are rising or falling.

If your doc perform a blood test, they should have a result by now.  Did you get blood work done at the doctor?  Yes, the spotting could be from implantation.

Should I go and see another doc...or shd I wait....??

Take another HPT, but use a different brand.  First Reponse has a reputation for false positives.  If you get another + then tell your DR that youare still testing + and you need to be seen again.

I'd call your doctor back and request a blood test.  If she denies you, then call around to other docs and explain your situation (with all of the confusing results) and I'm sure someone will see you.  

Don't give up; some doc will do one.

I will do one test right now .....e.p.t and first response..I have these two brands of test kits with me....and post you all the results....

Good luck - it sounds promising!! If you get another positive, I would definitely get a blood test.

Both e.p.t and first response brands came out to be positive !!!!!....I will try calling some docs and see if someone can see me today...for a blood test.

Congrats!  I'd definitely say you're pg and cannot explain the negative result at the doctors office.  Good luck with your blood test, I hope things go smoothly from here.

Hi ...went to doctors office (who so ever was ready to see me in a day) and got a positive urine tesr...so I am Preg..!!! Didn't have time to complete the full U/S and blood work ..will do that next week...
