I have a friend that got married in October of 2002. They had a long engagement and they knew that they wanted to have children right away. So, she came off of the BCP in May and was pregnant in July. She now has a beautiful baby girl. So, she was pregnant for the wedding. I don't think that they wanted to have children THAT fast, but they are happy, so I guess it's possible seeing that they conceived in June. Good Luck! Shannon
Its different for everyone. I stopped the pill in Feb and got my period 3days later. My next period was two weeks late and was shorter than normal the first day heavy then the other two days very light. So when my next period was due I didnt think much of it when it didnt come. I am now 11wks 6days pregnant.
It can take time but be patient.
I am in the same boat. I stopped the pill in June and got my first real period July 10. It was a 30 day cycle. I still have not gotten my next period and I am going on 33 days. But the problem is i had light spotting Thurs and today. It is strange. Is that normal for being off the pill a couple months. I also took a preg test but it was negative.
To: I need to know if anyone is having the same problem
I stoped taking my birthcontrol back in october and had one period ...it was the one that I had after taking my last pill in my last pack of birth contol. Since then No period. I went to the doctor he gave me blood test and an ultrasound and he doesn't even know what is wrong with me. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this. I mean its almost been about four months and nothing. Its weird I actually have this feeling that I am never going to have it again and I am only 24 years old. very strange.help if you can.
