Am I pregnant? too soon to test....Implantation bleeding?

I have been trying to conceive since august 2005. I came off the pill December 04. According to ovulation tests - i was ovulating January 4th and had sex every other day since the 1st to the 9th. I am on a 30 day cycle & it has never been late or early since April 05. My period this month was due January 17.  I still have not gotten it but had very, very little brownish bleeding starting Saturday the 14th and ending Monday the 16th. I assumed it may be implantation bleeding, but I took a pregnancy test on the 19th and it was negative. In addition, i have had cramping as if I were to get my period. Did I take the test to soon, could something else be wrong? Any insight would help. Thanks

New to site:  Has anyone experienced implant bleeding around the time of AF that lasts for about 3 days & seems extra watery?  Hpt are negative, but having many symptoms of cramping, tender bbs..etc.

Not to be negative, but implantation bleeding happens about 4-5 days after ovulation, so it seems an awful stretch to have bleeding that far away from ovulation and really close to when your period was.  Although it's possible, kinda' sounds like you had a early light period.  It happened to me when I was ttc the first month off the pill, I was waiting on a 30 period and I got a small one a couple of days early.  I just don't want you to get your hopes up that it might be impl. bleeding and it not be, I've been there and it's not a fun ride.  For your sake, I hope you are pregnant and if you're still having symptoms in a week, take a test. This is what I have been reading about when I google "Implantation Bleeding":

"Implantation bleeding can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation"

So I think it is possible.

I am ttc and have not been able to pinpoint exactly how long my cycles are b/c I was on the pill and went off it 2 months ago.  Last month I thought I had implantation bleeding but it was just a messed up period that was early.  Yesterday I experienced a light brown discharge (very spotty and has since stopped).  I figure I am due to have AF any day now- most likely Sunday, but who knows-- hopefully the brown discharge was Implantation bleeding, but I won't know for a few days I think for sure.  I took a hpt this morning and it was negative.  I'm hoping it just means I took it too early.

implantation bleeding does not even happen in all women ive never had it and dont no many who have so women stop worrying yourself relax you all might get pregnant when you relax go on a holiday or something good luck to everybody ttc out there hope the new year brings you luck.

Wait 1 more week (or a few days) if af doesnt come test again.  When i found out i was pg i took a HPT 10 days after bd and got a BFN.  When i took that test 6 days later it was positive.  give yourself a few more days..  Good luck and baby dust!!

I am not sure what is going on. I had a miscarriage this past november 28,2005, and had gotten my first period after miscarrying on new years day (1-1-2006). My period was normal and lasted the normal amount of days as usual. I just ovulated what i speculated the day would be about 2 weeks after my period, which was around the 18th/19th of this month, and now, 5 days later i started spotting, and today, the day after it seems as if i may have gotten my period---a week before i should be getting it.
there are two reasons why i am a bit concerned.  one of them is that the consistency of my period is very different than what it is normally. right now it is very red and it seems very thin, like pure blood (which is normally not the case with my normal period discharge). i normally know and feel when my period is coming, and this time, if that is what it is, i was suprised. i know my body well, and for some reason i dont know what is going on.
the second reason of my concern is that there may have been a possibility that i was pregnant, but of course it would be too early to tell. perhaps i had a chemical pregnancy ect. if i were pregnant and miscarried, should i go to my doctor, or is it not that urgent. please help me...i am so stressed out about this situation. thankyou very much

okay well im not sure im i am doing this right, im new at this but okay well me and my boyfriend have been having sex maybe once a week maybe twice, well he uses a condom and also pulls out, but see i have been feeling sick and vomited a few times in the past last week, i dont keep up on my period so i dont know if im late or not, but my last period was short like it was only 3 days long usually its 7, and im gaining weight, and have been feeling real b*tchy and tired, but i cant see how i would get pregnant if we use protection and also he pulls out, but i also have cravings for food i dont even like, and have been eating a lot more, can i be pregnant?

Okay I ovulated jan 24-26 time,and I my period is due feb 9th. I had a smallamount of brownish discharge on my toilet paper on saturday. Could this be a sign of implantation? I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative.
