I just had a baby six months ago, and have experienced some menstrual problems. When I stopped breast feeding I had my period almost every day for a month, even while on the pill. Now it has been five weeks since I've had a period. I have been on the pill consistently for three months, so don't think I am pregnant. Has anyone else had these problems? I've also had rectal bleeding after bowel movements for several months, I never had hemmoroids during labor, so I'm confused about that as well. Thanks.
If you're on the pill, you must have had an appointment or at least talked with your doctor. What did he/she say about the consistant months worth of bleeding? Did they check you to make sure something else wasn't wrong? Also if you've been on the pill for three months, how did the other two months go in terms of menstruation? Did you have a period then when you were supposed to or did you continuously bleed then too? I'm confused. With the pill you can spot inbetween periods - was your continuous bleeding heavy flow or just spotting? More info would help.
Rectal bleeding is never good and you need to get it checked. I never had hemmroids during labor but got them about three months post partum. I never bled from them, not saying that you can't, just that it could be something else and you need to get yourself checked asap. Good luck and keep us posted.
