Am i pregnant? 16 yrs old. Please Help! :(

Last Normal Period was in dec. 2nd. and my periods are vey regular this month i did not get my period on the 2nd of jan. my period is always a 32 day cycle. this month i am currently 13 days late. done a couple cheap hpts all three were negative. Is a sore throat and a slightly runny nose a symptom of pregnant?..also my stomach has been bloated. and a few days ago i have had this light brown slimy discharge, it lasted for one day..now i dont have it anymore..i've noticed that im more exhausted than i use 2 be. i have lower back pain. and yesturday i had white discharge. i seem 2 get white discharge alot more. i was sexually active in december.

Please anybody Help me, I am 16 yrs old. and idk if i am going crazii with this! or my mind is just playing tricks on me..but im not stressed about it. ..i just keep searchin on sites for pregnancy symptoms all the time. and how long should i wait to take another pregnancy test?

sore throat and a runny nose it not a symptom of pregnancy...its a sign of a cold.

if you were sexually active in december..your stomach would not be showing that you were pregnant.

your 16. my periods were all over the place when i was 16. sometimes i would miss a period but i would spot and sometimes just have a random brown discharge when i wouldnt get my period.

you could have a yeast infection, you could be getting mono (that would take care of you feeling tired, sore throat)

if you took a test when your period was due...you should take another pregnancy test in a week or so

baby girl im 19 i been in ur situation do a test mija thats all i can say.....u could be jus late from stressing out i knw ur usually on time but ur bound to be late sometime,if u are pregnant u need care right away take tha test ,keep testing til u get a posotive or a period.........good luck green eyes

Well this morning i did a test and there was a faint line!  That has 2 mean Pregnancy! gonna take another pregnancy test in a few days. or perhaps tomorrow.! i have no idea how to tell anyone! if i am infact pregnant. a faint line does mean pregnancy but 2 be 100% sure im gonna go to the docters in a week. im soo shaky. idk why! how am i gonna explain this! but i'll keep posting untill i get back from the docters next week.!

I know you just tested this morning, but wait a few more days and test again and the line should be a bit darker. Usually a line is a line and it does mean you are pregnant but faint lines can be evaporation lines if not read during the right time period. The cheap tests can sometimes be hard to read. A blood test from the doc will give you a definite answer. If you are pregnant, then take your time and think about your options, people that will support you in whatever you decide to do next and realize that whatever happens, happens- you can't change the past but you can make plans for the future. There are also pregnancy support centers who can provide you will free and confidential help too. If you have a teacher or someone you trust, do confide in them.
If you are not pregnant then set up a plan to avoid pregnancy in the future. Your doc can provide you with all sorts of birth control options. As well, I would be worried about STDs, not just pregnancy.
You are not in this alone, take a deep breath and find out your answers for sure and then go from there.

even a faint line is positive. if you want to be sure you can go to your ob and have them do a blood test or wait a few more days and take another hpt. you could get the digital test (i think they're $7-$8 for one test and $13 for two) and there won't be any confusion. it says pregnant, not pregnant. so there's no wondering if the faint line is an actual line or an evaporation line. and with the faint line did you read it after the 2 minutes? but before 10 minutes? if you read it after 10 minutes it could be an evaporation line.

I did another test the day after and it was a different brand of test, it was negative??. why was my first test positive with  a faint line and now the day after its negative? well tomorrow. (the 15th) im going 2 the docters 2 get a blood test, because i cant wait for my period any longer, or a BFP..idk..periods not here...i know there might still be a chance i might be pregnant, but im not sure. i guess i'll know by tomorrow morning!

Good luck with everything. I do hope that it's just your period being late, honey. Stress does affect our cycles along with many other things.  Whatever the outcome, you can find people here to talk to if you need to.

Generaly a line means positive there are rarely almost never a fake positive but there are alot of fake negatives.  Of course thats only if you read it in the right time frame, because afterward there can be an evap line which does not mean ur pregnant.  When I was pregnant with my son I did not get a positive hpt until I was 8 weeks along and even then it was soo faint you could barely see it. I went to the docs and there test right away said positive.  SO have you told anyone that u suspect your pregnant? Well u must have if your going the docs.   I had my daughter when I was 16 but of course my situation is alittle different I was already married. (and still happly married 7 years later) Good luck

going to get a blood test is a good idea. if you're getting positive and negative results it could be you didn't read one or both of the tests in the right time frame or it's a false negative. or even a false positive. those are rare but they do happen. just don't stress because that could make your period late and drive you even more insane. just relax and know that when you go to the ob then you'll have a definate answer and then you can plan for what comes next. whether that's preparing for a baby or getting b/c or whatever you need/want to do.

Keep us updated on how the blood test turns out. That is going to give you confirmation one way or another and at least you'll know for sure.
