My wife is having a thick Amniotic Band which was noticed in the first Sonography itself. Now she is 30 weeks pregnant and by god's grace no traces of any complications is seen but now since the child is growing bigger and the space to move is reducing.we are more worried. How will we know if any body part of the baby is getting hurt by the Amniotic Band ?
This is not a doctor forum, although MedHelp does also have forums written by doctors. This is a patient-to-patient forum. That said, the answer to your question is that any damage from amniotic band syndrome can usually be seen on the ultrasound. Good luck to you.
