Wow, I can't believe I got this one open. I figured that was it for today!!!
Have a blast everyone!

Congratulations Chloe, a little bouncing baby boy in there, whooohoo. How are you feeling and how far along are you now? I like the name you picked, Ashton, sounds like he's a cool dude.

Kassismom, I had the same thing happen to me, remember. I discussed it with other docs and they just cover each others asses. I couldn't be bothered writing a letter. I would be there for a week with all the problems I had. Lack of testing, lack of caring, lack or privacy, refusal of testing. Need I go on. Some of them just don't give a hoot about us, we are just another number. But on the other hand, I don't know how things work there but it may raise some eyebrows. Good luck!

Hey Missy
I missed you yesterday. I know what you mean about maternity clothes. My jeans are too tight, work clothes will make it for a while longer, but I am not "showing" enough to wear maternity clothes. My dh wants to go shopping this weekend. That is strange for him! But I'll take it:) Everyone says that you shouldnt show till your 5th month on the 1st pg.hhhmmmm Maybe I just have weak stomache muscles.
How is the m/s? I have evening sickness, STILL! I thought this was going away:( Oh well. I am just happy.
Have you told the people at work yet? I did. Now everyone in the office keeps looking at my belly like its gonna just POP out at them. ha ha!
gotta go, I will check again for you later.

When are you due again missy? Aren't we due around the same time?

I am only 8 wks and already showing.

Shari-I don't know who told you you don't show till 5 months but that's crazy!! LOL Well, not for a few I guess but I was pooching by 8 wks with my DD and she was my first!! This time, there is not a pooch, there is a BELLY!! LOL I have already had to go get smaller maternity clothes.

BTW, does anyone know where you can get particularly cute maternity stuff? I didn't find anything I like at Motherhood, I do like Mimi and SOME Old NAvy. I just want cute/sexy stuff. Not mumu's and tents.

I bought a pair of capri overalls in army green and my DH felt the material and he said "Oh they make tents out of this stuff" Great. Isn't he just Mr. Feel Good!

Yes my morning sickness has pretty much gone away, however I was like you and didn't have it in the morning it was mostly in the evening starting between 5:30 and 6:00 pm and lasting until I fell into bed dead tired although if I didn't keep something on my stomach I would feel sick then too.  With my daughter I had it pretty much all day so I'm not complaining about just having it mostly in the evenings.  I am not really showing that much either just a little pooch but still enough so that it is hard to wear regular clothes.

I did tell my co-workers and I just told my boss on Thursday.  My boss didn't take it very well and basically he will start looking for my replacement (A very long story).  Which in a way is o.k. with me because I was debating about working from home anyway so I guess he just made my decision that much easier. I will stay until October but depending on what comes up with working from home I may decide to leave earlier.

First thing first, You crack me up so much! I imagine you as a very animated person...that's a good thing...lol.

Also, regarding maternity clothes, I know you said you were looking online and stuff but couldn't find what you wanted. Though I have never made it that far to need maternity things, that never stopped me from looking at it while I was pregnant : )3 m/c's in the previous year : (

Anyway, my point was you mentioned you liked some Old Navy stuff. They have a FEW cute things online, but have you tried to look in the store itself? There is one near me that carries all the hip styled clothes in maternity. Each store may differ, maybe mine has it since I live near a large military base so the demand is high for that stuff? Also do you have stores like Burlington Coat Factory? We don't, but we were visiting near one so I went and looked around (not just for maternity..lol) and again, they have the cute stuff that old navy does but it's cheaper. Good luck and keep everyone posted on what you find. I'm hoping to need it one day soon!

Nope I am not at all inbetween! LOL I am defintly in maternity clothes. Sad huh?

I don't think we have a Fashion Bug here in Houston. I have never heard of it. And while looking around online I noticed Gap's maternity stuff. Some of it is cute, typical Gap type clothing, just big sized! :)

I have also been looking on ebay. Just do a search for maternity and to weed out all the old stuff I type in descriptives like "cute" or "sexy" and the size I am looking for. I have found a couple of cute things on there. Not much because the really great stuff you have to sit on the auction to win, and I don't have that kind of time!!!

You are just to funny.  I will be exactly 14 weeks tomorrow,  Yeah! I am due October 21.  Well at least I don't feel so bad about putting on the maternity clothes already.  It does seem like a bit early though.  I posted about in the open forum on Saturday.  Yep, I was so depressed about it I even logged on during the weekend to vent about it.

I am sort of at that in-between stage, to small for maternity and to big for regular clothes.  With my daughter I didn't really look pregnant until about 7 months, just a little fatter and a little pooch but this time I agree it is definately a belly.  I will have to get out my pregnancy journal to see when I started wearing maternity clothes with my daughter.

Anyway is there a such thing as cute/sexy maternity clothes? lol I went to JCpenney's this weekend for some summer type maternity stuff and they had the ugliest shorts.  I thought with the looks of those I won't be wearing shorts this summer. I was pregnant during the winter with my daughter so I have a lot of colder weather stuff.  Although I was smart and bought a lot of tops with short sleeves and just put sweaters over them if I got cold.

I haven't checked it out yet but I know there is now a  Gap Maternity so maybe they will have some cute stuff. Fashion bug also is carrying maternity now and I saw some stuff in their window and it looked to be pretty cute.  Let me know what you find.

I know its Wednesday, but I havent been on line since Monday night. I wanted to comment back to you all:)

Missy, that really stinks that your boss is a butt head! You definetly dont need that kind of stress. He should just be happy for you and deal with other issues later!
I hope that the "home work" will work out for you, this way you can be home with the baby:)
I was asked today, if I would be staying on at work after the baby is born. I said I really hadnt explored the options yet and its a bit early for me to know that. I have been in training, so I am just wondering, "do they want me to leave?". Even if my work sucks (which I dont think it does), I keep these people talking to each other and not fighting all the time:)

I am getting lower back pain, like crazy this week and a co worker mentioned its because I will carry the baby in my butt! Can you believe? I have never heard it stated that way. But I just laughed at her and said I cant afford my butt to get any bigger!

Anyone have any suggestions on how to relieve the back pain?
Can we use back massagers? I have one you can lay on and it does your neck to your feet.
