Another Question for the Ladies

Hi again. Sorry I'm posting another question, but I'm 3 days to being induced and I have a lot of questions...

I went to the bathroom several times today and every time I wipe I have this semi-watery milky discharge (TMI, sorry). It's a yellow white color. Is this normal?

I guess I just don't want to be induced and I'm hoping that anything is a sign...what are common signs that labor is near? I went to the midwife on Thursday and she said I was a 'solid 4cm' and 85% effaced.

I hope this happens naturally before I have to be induced...

I hope you aren't induced too.  But if you do have to be induced (I'm sure your doctor has a good reason for this?) chances are it will go quickly as you are so dilated and effaced.

Your discharge just sounds like regular non fertile CM to me.

Have you lost your mucus plug?

Sounds normal to me. If you are dialating then why are they going to induce you? When is your due date? Are you having contractions?

I don't know if this will make you feel any better but I was induced with my second child and it was a DREAM! I am expecting my third in June and I hope it will be induced as well. I had my first natural, all the way natural...very difficult for me.

Good luck and congrats in advance:)

I was 80%& 5cm, then got induced b/c of high b/p & placenta detaching, I was only in labor for 4.5hrs :) I waited til I was 7cm before gettin the epi, sometimes it can slow your labor down so try to hold off as long as u can if u want an epi :) Good Luck!! It's great that u r already so thin, lots of times thats the hardest part for lots of women!!!
