Another Spotting Question

I am 7w4d.  2nights ago, I began spotting.  Only when I wiped and it was a very light pink.  I have had some very minor cramping on and off throughout my pregnancy but have not had it while I am spotting.  
Is it true that you can begin spotting around the same time your period would be due??? I would have been due this week and was wondering could it just be some residual bleeding or is it something I should check into?  I am planning on calling the RX today.

Just came back from a sonogram and everything including baby is fine.  I saw the heartbeat for the first time and it looked like it was literally popping out of its chest---so Cute!!

Cause for spotting is not known, but she said it could be a small blood vessel that broke due to a lot of growing and stretching.  The bleeding was not coming from the embryo.

Oh what a sigh of relief!!

With my first baby I started spotting at 7 weeks and spotted off and on for about 3-4 weeks. Everything went fine and I had a healthy baby girl. I have had 4 pregnanies since and never spotted once during the pregnancies.

Hi everyone,
I'm new here. I don't really have a question, just want to vent. I am currently almost into my 6th week of pregnancy. I am now having brown spotting for three days.  I have had on previous miscarriage, last year.  This pregnancy took nearly nine months to achieve. I had an ultrasound today , Dr said she doesn't see anything. Had blood test also and results are pending. Really I guess the only thing I can do is leave everything in GOD's hands and hope he blesses me with a child either now or later. Please wish me luck and GOD's blessings.

i would call your dr no matter what.  and i believe that while spotting in pregnancy is not natural it is very common.  i spotted after bd the weekend i would have had my period but nothing since and that was 2wks and 3days ago.  ask your dr when you give a call just to reassure you.  prayers!!

I AM ALSO SPOTTING BLEEDING AS WELL.IT STARTED YESTERDAY NITE RED BLOOD CAMEOUT WHILE I WAS TRYING TO COOK DINNER.I GOT SO SCARED I RAN TO THE BATHROOM THINKING I WAS GOING TO BLEED EVERYWHERE.IT LASTES A LIL BIT AND THEN LIGHTEND.IT IS NOW A REDICH PINK COLOR BUT LIKE MY PERIODS USUALLY ARE.I AM SCARED I AM MISSCARRING BECAUSE TODAY I WENT TO THE DOCTORS AND THEY SAID IT WASNT LOOKING TO GOOD BUT SENT ME FOR BLOOD TESTS AND IM WAITING FOR THE RESULTS.I LEAVE IT IN GODS HANDS BECAUSE ITS HIS WILL IF I HAVE ANOTHER CHILD RIGHT NOW.IF ANYONE HAS ANY THING TO WRITE TO ME ABOUT HOW THE BLOOD IS SAPPOSED TO BE IN A MISSCARRIAGE PLEASE WRITE TO ME.GOD BLESS!!!

Well, if it looks like your normal period and has clots in it, it is probably a miscarriage.  My first pregnancy I had a bout of heavy bleeding at one point, and I was still pregnant.  I think I had actually miscarried a twin.  I just miscarried too, but it was so early and that makes it easier.  ((((hugs)))) to you and let us know.
