Antiplatelet Antibodies??

by fairytale07, Oct 16, 2007 04:43PM
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about antiplatelet antibodies? I went to get my blood drawn today, and I asked what they were checking and the lady said they were checking my blood count again and for the antiplatelet antibodies, but she didn't know anything about the last one? I go see my regular ob tomorrow, but I was just curious. Thanks!

Do you mean anti-phospholipid antibodies? This would mean that you are prone to clots if they are high.
