Any experience with Clomid

Any experience with Clomid

Hi,

We desparately want another child - last time I wrote asking for any suggestions on how i could increase my chances and i got some helpfull hints. However dh is quite busy and he travels alot. He will be going away in October and he wont be back until Christmas time. Ds turned 2 and 4 months and we are more than ready to try for the second (our target is 4 and iam 32). My Dr. suggested Clomid and i will be seing him tomorrow to get all details. Anybody with Clomid experience - do you recommend it, any side effects, anything i need to ask my dr? I will be greatfull for your answers.

Goodluck to everybody in my boat!

I am very moody with Clomid and I feel Ovulation pains a LOT more than usual (which I hope is a good sign that there is a lot going on there!)

Thanks Jen;

After posting my comment i found out on visiting the loo that AF has arrived - gone back to a normal 28 cycle - i feel like abundoning the Clomid idea and try it again this month - the only worry is that if i miss this month - then it will be January.

Fingers crossed!

I took 50mg of Clomid and got pregnant after my 2nd cycle on it.  Unfortantly, it ended in a MC at 6 weeks.

I just got my first AF since then, we are excited to TTC again.  My doctor said that since I was able to get pregnant with the help of Clomid, that he wasn't going to have me start it again just yet, to see if my body will do it on its own (ovulate that is).

Basically, it helps, and if you aren't ovulating, I would say, take it!

I tried Clomid for 3 months and got pregannt.  I have PCOS so I have Clomid to thank for the pregnancy.  I took it at night since I read somewhere that some women had stomach problems with it and I had no problems.  I was able to feel when I ovulated but I was glad for that!  The only problem I didnt like with the Clomid was that it dried up my CM so I combatted that by taking Robitussin.  It really works!  I took it from cycle day 10 til 17 and followed the instructions as to how much.  Good luck.

I took clomid and got pregnant on my 3rd cycle of it. I didn't have any side effects other than VERY painful ovulation. I just took some tylenol menstrual or pamprin and relaxed on the couch all day. I know alot of people that got pregnant with their first cycle of clomid.

GOOD LUCK!!i
