My sister was allergic to wellbutrinWellbutrin Wellbutrin sr Wellbutrin xl so she was put on effexorEffexor Effexor xr (sp?) when she found out she was pregnant they gradually changed her to prozacProzac Prozac weekly (the doc said it was the oldest one out there and they knew most side effects for baby) she was on prozac for about 7 months and once the baby was born they gradually put her back on effexor. she only breastfed 3 months. I am not sure if this is helpful but she was also dignosed with bipolar type 1. She is only on one medication though.
Take care
I went off Welbutrin when I found out I was pregnant. I remember reading about it being more important to be off it in the third trimester. I'm suprised your OB didn't give you further advice on what to do. There are other drugs you might be able to switch to. Also know that you also shouldn't breastfeed if taking Welbutrin. Prozac and Zoloft are two safer options you might ask about...
