Anyone else dealing with insomnia?

by Still_AndiJ, Sep 20, 2003 12:00AM
Here it is almost 8 am, and i haven't been to bed yet. In fact, since 4pm Wednesday afternoon, I have gotten a total of 6 or 7 hours of sleep. And that has been in the form of an hour here and there with the most at one time being 2 1/2 hours. Funny things is, I am not all that tired. My guess is it is due anxiety about the pg, returning to school and a bit of a manic episode rolled into one. Ah, the joys of being bi-polar.

I have my neighbor bringing her 3 year old grand-daughter over around 4 and I will have her until her mom gets home at 10 or so and then again tomorrow. Mix that with my own little monster and schoolwork and I will be begging for the manic phase to continue : )
Taking something at this point is a lost cause, I will just have to crash on my own.
The main point of this post is basically don't freak out if my posts have been a little off. My brain isn't functioning as well as usual and I may not make much sense : ) That and I am bored to tears right now, even though DH just got home from work.

Good luck to all the TTCers, I am throwing tons of babydust so catch as much as you can.

For those of us who are pg, congrats and take care of yourselves and those little peanuts. TRy not to stress out too badly, things have a way of working out.

And for those who have recently given God a new angel, i pray you will soon find peace in your heart.

My prayers and thoughts are with everyone : ) Hope you all have a great weekend!! I'll post here and there, need to gte going on studying : )

Hey Andi,
I know exactly how you feel! I will be doing all kinds of housework and bed time will roll around and I will feel so tired, but once I hit the bed..I am just laying there staring at the ceiling. I have had little sleep and can never seem to find a comfortable position (anything wakes me up). Don't stress out with school...I am in my last semester for my BA and know how you feel, but try to keep a level head. All (most) teachers will understand if you can not do everything at once (especially if you are pregnant). My thoughts are with you and all those who read these comments. Good luck and God bless :) - Emi
