Anyone in Northern NJ want to start a Mom's group/future playgroup?

Hello Ladies!!! Well...after feeling sorry for myself last week about not having any friends living near me I decided to do something about it.  I posted an ad on Craigslist for future/current moms who want to form a mom's group/playgroup.  I've gotten a few responses!

Just wanted to see if anyone on here is from Northern NJ and would want to be part of a moms group/future playgroup!

I am in NH, a little north of you....I am in the same boat, wish I could find more mommies to be around. Guess that is why I'm on here so much, not the same, but it helps...

We should all start a MedHelp mommy convention, that would be fun!!

you can both be honorary members =)  And I think that convention is a GREAT idea!!!  Has anyone ever tried that before???

hi sallystar. i am also located in northern NJ... sounds like a great idea. my neighbor just had a baby 2 weeks ago, and she doesn't know many people in the area either. what county are you located in?

I use to live in Jersey, however never got the whole northern southern thing.  Where exactly are you?  My best friend needs to meet some new people.  She has a three year old son and NEVER gets to mingle and meet new people.  Since I live in VA, I cant drag her out the house. She lives in the Morristown area.

I am in Bergen County...the more the merrier.  I'm not sure how to get this thing off the ground...but I really want to!  Even just to have a group of women to go out to dinner with once  a month who understand what we are each going through...and then maybe to have some kind of a playgroup eventually...my email is ***@****.  if you think of anyone who would be interested - tell them to email me!  Thanks so much!
