Anyone know of a good thermometer??

I bought a thermometer at one of the big pharmacy chains (CVS or RiteAid, can't recall and it's called DTT) and I absolutely dislike it.  It's inaccurate b/c if I put it in one spot of the forehead, it reads 97.7 and a little bit to the left or right it can read 99.3 (I would think it's a big difference).  Anyone knows of a better brand?

i just use one that we got as a gift for when i was preg with ds (never been used) you can get them anywhere in the health isle they are digital thats the best.

I bought one at WalMart/Target that is a digital Basal Body Temp Thermometer.  It was about $8.  Pinkish in color and made by Omiron (I think that's how you spell it).  It works well.  Takes a little longer to get temp than regular digital thermometer (1 min vs. 10 seconds) but seems pretty accurate.

We got our temporal scan thermometer at Walmart for about $40.  We are really pleased with it.  To get a temp. on it you have to move it across the forehead back and forth a few times until it reads.

I have a braun thermometer that I bought from target that takes the temp. in the ear in about 10 seconds.  It was around $40.  I love it!
