Anyone ovulate or conceive after provera?

Anyone ovulate or conceive after provera?

I know I asked a question yesterday about provera and didn't get much of a response.  I guess as days pass and as my hopes increase to being able to get pregnant soon, I am interested in what others go through.  I'm on provera to jumpstart AF and dr is hoping I will ovulate regularly afterwards, but I'm not so certain because I have never been regular.  My real reason for concern and promptness to get pg is that my husband just turned 37 (I'll be 25 in a few months) and last night had blood in his semen AND urine.  He noticed it was in his urine a few days ago and had scheduled an appt that ended up being today with the dr, but last night really freaked him out.  We know the clock is ticking for us to conceive.  Please, any help...we're both scared of the worst, but trying to stay positive.

I don't ovulate on my own, therefore I don't get af on my own. I used 3 cycles of provera to jump-start af and then used 3 cycles of clomid to help me ovulate. I didn't need provera when the clomid worked, but there was 1 cycle where it didn't work and the other 2 times I took provera was before I started the clomid. The first month my OB/GYN wanted to run some tests and I needed to have af for the tests. Then the second cycle I took provera to jump-start af so that I could take clomid. I am 16w5d pregnant.

Thanks for you postings yesterday and today.  I really appreciate it!!  Congrats on your pregnancy, and also, thank you for the hope and encouragement.  It would be so great to not have to take Clomid every time I want to get pg or provera every time to jumpstart AF, but if it gets the BFP I'll do it:)  Good luck with the rest of you pregnancy!

I never had to use Provera (almost one time but AF showed the day I was supposed to take it).  But I did use Clomid 50mg for 3 cycles and now I am 7 weeks preggers!  So it really does help esp. if you arent regular, then I would say you arent Oing all the time.  Good luck to you!
