Anyone use progesterone to prevent preterm labor/delivery?

Anyone use progesterone to prevent preterm labor/delivery?

Hi there....As some of you know I just had a baby girl after two early miscarriages last year.  The only thing is I had her at 34 weeks 6 days.   My doctor said next time he will have me take progesterone suppositories up until 37 weeks.  I've heard of this....actually of the progesterone shots to prevent preterm labor in women who have already had a preterm delivery.  I also used progesterone during the 1st 12 weeks of this last pregnancy so I wouldn't miscarry....

Has anyone else used or know anyone who had a preterm delivery and then used progesterone the next time and carried to term????

Thanks!

Progestrone is to thickin the lining in your uterus to make your pregancy go smoother. They have my other half taking it which is why I know if the lining is to thin it causes early bleeding which can lead to miscarrying. You should also inquire about Estrodal to the combo is suppost to make conditions optimal for carrying a baby.
