At how many months can baby hold their head up

I want to know at how many months will baby be able to hold their heads up without wobbling around? My twin girls will be 3 months old on April 22nd.

by 3 4 months my son did it at 3 months now he does it the best at 5

My son's been holding his head strong since 1 month.  He's a rarity though, he's sitting up pretty much on his own and he's only 4 1/2 months.  I'm not sure what the typical age is though.

Were they full term?  Babies should be able to do it, at least momentarily, by 3 months (adjust the age if they were preemies).  Most can do it pretty well by that age.  One of my twins was still struggling with holding his head at almost 6 months (4 months adjusted), and this was considered a pretty significant delay.  With aggressive therapy (basically, lots of tummy time), he finally developed those muscles and other developmental milestones have taken off from there.
