Babies and Nail Polish

My daughter is 11 months old and now that spring will be approaching I was wanting to paint her toe nails. I have been looking for nail polish that is safe for children and I have only found for ages 3 and up. Is this safe??? She no longer sucks on her toes so that wouldnt be an issue. But I am not sure what products to use or where to purchase them.

I would say its ok, if it was her finger nails that would be a different issue. And if you do id only put one coat on that way its harder to get off. I know i use A brand called ICE and i have trouble getting it off when theres only 1 coat on it.

I painted my baby's toenails all the time...lol  As long as she's not putting her toes in her mouth, I dont see a problem with it.  BUT I am sure someone may have more info on the subject...............
