Baby dance question?!?!

Baby dance question?!?!

I have two quick questions.
1. What is the baby dance? Hmmm the thought of me bopping around the room in some tribal dance ritual while I have my DH laying there waiting for me is kind of disturbing (not for him I am sure).
2. I really would like to try and get pregnant soon, but not to soon. I just lost on the 11th of June, had a second D&C on the 23rd and am yet to have my first period so I need to wait at least a few months. I know I need to grieve the loss of this baby and not try and replace her with another so I am giving myself plenty of time. My thing is my DH was shocked by my last pregnancy (not planned or wanted by him in the beginning but he did come around and was devastated by the loss) He won't talk about trying for another and just kind of clams up when I try to bring it up. We have been married for 11 years and have two healthy wonderful little boys 10 and 6. I have always wanted three but he was happy with the two boys. I just have this yearning for 3 children and feel like my family is not truly complete. He knows I am not on any birth control at this point and I have to get the OK from the Dr for the go ahead to have "relations" again. Do you think he might need more time? Does anyone else have a similar situation. I would love to hear advice on how I should handle this from you all, good or bad I am ready to listen.
Thanks
Leonie

The baby dance is a ritualistic dance much like the rain dance performed by the cherokee indians, with just a few steps changed to ensure maximum fertility. You can even personalize the dance to tell the fertility Gods that you want a boy or girl.

Just kidding-BD or baby dance or bed dance simply means having sex for the purpose of creating a baby.

As for your DH, mine was the same way at first. Try talking to him in bed when he can't go anywhere or clam up and start with "I want to know how you feel about the miscarriage." Just make sure you don't get upset, angry or saddened by his response just because it may not be yours or what you want to hear. Just cry with him, nod your head and say I understand. If you fault him for his feelings, he won't open up to you at all.

As for when to try again, you hit the nail on the head when you said you have to wait for the go ahead from your Dr. I only waited one cycle after my OB told me to wait 3, but I had a natural m/c without a d&c.

Best of luck in the baby dance to you!! :)
