Baby wind

My 18 week old baby has reflux as had my 5 year old son and she is on zantac, carobel and nutramigen 1 formula. The zantac has completly taken away her pain and the carobel somewhat helps with the vomiting. However she has started farting at night from 11pm right through to 7am in the morning and while she is crying with the pain I have to just push her legs up and rub her back. They are foul smelling and huge and constant. She burps well throughout the day but only takes 4 5oz bottles. She is 11lb 4. I am at my wits end and can't understand why the farting is constant, does not go away and does not give her relief. Both me and her are exhausted. Does she need to gee a gastroenterologist. What could be causing this non-stop farting.

Are you bottle or breast feeding?  If you are bottle feeding it could be an issue with the formula and you may need to switch, but you should discuss this with your doctor.

Formula was change yesterday to Neocate...fingers crossed
