I use saline drops to help clear the nasal passages.

any type of saline drops work.  I think there is one called Little Noses they sell in drug stores.

yea, i wouldn't give him any medication. just suck out whatever you can and use the nasal drops.

bring him into the bathroom in a bouncy seat while you take a very steamy shower. seems to help dd.

saline drops...
and try not to use the 'snuffer' i think it is called...
do you run a vaporizer?

After I had mastered the bulb thingy for sucking the snot out of the baby's nose, the pediatrician told me not to use it, apparently it just causes the membranes up higher in the nose to produce more snot.  She suggested q-tips for visible snot, and a steam vaporizer thing (I can't remember if she suggested hot moisture or cold moisture) for the baby when sleeping.

Excuse me, I meant a humidifier, not a vaporizer.
