Back aching!!

Back aching!!

Hello, everyone.  I just wanted to see how everyone was doing.  Lately, I've been experiencing some pretty annoying back aches (I'm on my 32nd week).  It comes and goes but mostly when I'm sitting down so I pretty much can't sit in one place for more than one hour.  I have to shift my body constantly and it doesn't guarantee that the ache will go away.  I go to a chiro for this problem and he keeps telling me "the stress on your back is pretty big right now".  So I'm thinking to myself "I gained 16 lbs only, can it effect the back so much?"  Do any of you lovely ladies out there know what I can do to eliviate this discomfort? Thanks!

Try putting a tennis ball behind you and leaning into it at the spot that hurs.  You might also be slouching more than usual, thats pretty common during pg.  I used to walk around every hour or so, and take two major outside tromps twice a day for about 15 minuts, during the work day, and that helped me a lot.

yeah, mine pain is in my tailbone as well and I'm only 25  weeks (today), I've gained 10lbs. I hope it doesn't get much more worse. I think I'll try taking a stroll every once and while too.

I am 37 1/2 weeks I have been having bad back pain since about 20 weeks...  I have only gained 13 1/2 pounds but I was blessed with a large chest... lol  Back pain is no stranger to me.  To me it kind of feels like I have been running all day and go to sit down and it just pulses... Or like my back is just plain weary...  The only thing I have found to help it is a warm bath or an ice pack positioned on my lower back.  Also sometimes sitting with a pillow against your lower back can help correct your posture a little bit while you sit.
