BV is more commonly associated with LATE miscarriage and preterm delivery than the situation you had.
After standard treatment for BV, there can be as much as a 30% recurrance rate. Some clinicians are treating with twice a week vaginal medications for 3 months. Treating the sexual partner has not proven to be helpful.
well I had it early in this pregnancy. They gave me some gel to insert before I go to bed for five days. I haven't had the discharge that I was having before I used the gel. Being that you've had it you know what I'm talking about. Right now I'm 13 weeks along an dI go for an ultra sound tomorrow and I pray that everything is okay. Because if it's not i don't think I'll be able to take two m/c in such a short time frame.
Christie-- Aren't you a nurse? If so, can you tell me when can you start to actually feel the baby move. Because at 13 weeks I really don't know if it's just me or if this is the baby from time to time when I'm laying down I feel a little funy feeling in my Tummy an dthen sometimes in certain spots when I'm just waking up I feel this little hard spot and then when I touch it it disappears. So what do you think? Or could it be gas? (smile)
Nancy, from what I've read you can start to feel the baby moving from about 16-20 weeks. A friend of my felt her baby around 16-17 weeks, she said it was awesome.

Good luck to you.
