Bladder problem, I think!

Bladder problem, I think!

Hey, probably within the last week or a little over, I've been having these really sharp pains, and I mean really sharp pains just in my pelvis area, although the pain is really only there when I'm busting for the loo, and then when I do go it still really hurts until I've emptied, I'm thinking maybe I have a bladder infection or something, does it sound like that would be it, or might it be another problem, I'm seeing my docotor this Thursday but thought someone might have an answer for me now. Oh and I'm 14w & 4d preg.
Ta!

Sounds like one, or it could be your bladder is getting squished.  I would call your Dr. and get in ASAP so they can treat it.  With my second baby I had no relief after going and was miserable.  They discovered that my uterus had not risen at 13 weeks and was literally flattening my bladder.  In return my bladder was spasming.  I was going to have to have it moved manually, as I have a very tilted uterus and it was stuck.  They gave me a few days and it moved on it's own.  Baby sat on my bladder though most of the pregnancy and my poor bladder spasmed most of the time.  They told me to take pyridium when it was bad and it helped some, went back to normal after baby.  Hope yours goes away soon.

I had sharp pains in my kidneys when I was prego, but I only got them at night when I wasn't pee'ing as much.  But if you're having this during the day I'd go see the doctor ASAP.  Best of luck to you!

I am currently having somewhat of the same problem except I get the pains off and on very frequently and are worse after going to the bathroom.  I went to the doc and they found blood in my urine but no infection so they had to do a urine culture and I wont get the results back til this afternoon.
