Blanket

How old were your babies when you started to let them sleep with a blanket in the crib.  DD will be 11m on Nov. 5th and with the cold weather coming in I was wondering if it would be okay to put a blanket in the crib with her.

Kennedy had a Blanket right around that time. I started giving her a blanket and pillow at around 10 months when the risks of sids became significantly low. If it worries you, you could always tuck the blanket in real tight in the sides of the crib andkeep her arms out...all tho at this age im not sure that it would saty that way.=)

My DD started using a blanket around 13 months old... We have very cold weather here, so we bought a separate heater for her room - so that it is kept warmer than the rest of the house...

i think that is around when my son had a blanky.  they have those blanket sleepers too.  i used that for the longest time.  :)

I started putting a blanket on my dd during nap time at around 10 months. Once 'I' was comfortable with her using it...i started giving it to her at night.
She should def. be ready for it now. My dd stuffs the edge of her blanket in her mouth to sooth her when upset and to fall asleep. It used to scare me...but she can breath through her nose....

Mine's 9 1/2 months, he's had a blanket for a few weeks now.
