I too had spotting after bd in much the same manner as yourself.  I was 9 weeks pg and everything turned out fine - I gave birth last April to a healthy baby boy. After the spotting, I contacted my dr to make sure everything was okay - try that for reassurance.

Thank you for your help. I am just so worried!! We haven't had intercourse for about a month and a half now. After I seen that little blood, I feel apart-he reassured me, but it's just the thought of loosing our baby. I'll call my dr tomorrow morning. Thank you for your advise...congrats on your baby boy!!

During pregnancy, blood vessels are nearer to the surface of the cervix and causes the cervix to be more sensitive.  My doctor said due to that, spotting after sex was normal.  Only minimal spotting, though...before I miscarried I had heavy bleeding after sex-a sign that something wasn't right.

Thanks, it was very light and very little amount of blood. I'm just so terrified. I can't get in touch with my doctor until Monday...for reassurance... ahhh!!

I am in my 20th week, and in the beginging of my pg I always had spotting after intercourse.  It can be very normal, but call you dr on Monday.  If it gets heavy with cramping go to the ER.  I think your probably OK though.  Good luck and happy and healthy 9 months.

Im my 9th week of pregnancy, my husband and i had sex, when i got up there was blood everywhere, Bright red and wouldnt stop, I had suffered a miscarriage 2 months prior so I was so scared, we went to the er where they did a sono and wouldnt let us see or tell us anything. Then the doctor came in did an exam, told me my sono was perfect and the there was a small vaginal lacaration. The bleeding did not stop for over a month, it changed to brown but continued. I never did relax with that preganacy (pregnancy) and had never experienced bleeding from sex before. But I know now it happens and is pretty common from what the doc said.
