brown blood means old blood, many women bleed in pregnancy for all sorts of reasons and have perfectly healthy babies. try not to worry, if you havent had any cramping then that is a good sign!

I agree with the above reply. Brown blood does mean old blood and that is a good thing. You could be having implantation bleeding, Just because you are bleeding (even if it was red) doesn't mean you are going to miscarry. I bled from like 5 weeks until about 10 weeks and I am currently 32 weeks 1 day along with a healthy little girl. Keep positive thoughts and congratulations on your baby.

I had bleeding throughout my entire pregnancy and my baby was fine.  It should always be looked at by a doctor.  My doctor always checked me with any bleeding I had to be sure my cervex was closed.  Congrats!

Realistically, this could go either way.  Any bleeding or spotting during pregnancy could be a cause for concern.  You could be experiencing the start of a m/c, or just a normal pregnancy.  By six weeks, your dr. should be able to see a fetal pole, and beating heart.  Make sure your dr. is aware of your spotting.  I have had four pregnancies, and experienced spotting or bleeding with three of them.  One of them was a miscarriage, and two of them were live births....now five years old, and four weeks old.  I have three children, and didn't see any spotting with only one of them.

Hi
I am 6 weeks 2 days pregnant. I have been spotting since last week. It happens only in the evening, see a light tinge of brown when I wipe after peeing. I also have cramps, that too happens in the evenings and at night. during the day I am perfectly fine. Saw my doc this morning, gave a few blood tests and u/s to do. Will do u/s tomorrow. Did you see adoc yet?
