Bleeding with blood clots during pregnancy

Bleeding with blood clots during pregnancy

I had my first prenatal visit today with my doctor and I didn't get anything from it except for worries that I might miscarry.  I have no clue when my last normal period was and my doctor didn't try anything to tell me if things were ok or not.  She told me that my uterus is very small so either I am not very along or I've miscarried or am going to miscarry.  I have had bleeding since about a week after I found out I was pregnant and that has been 3 weeks. I passed blood clots twice this week.  Blood has been anywhere from pink to bright red to mucousy brown. I'm very frustrated because I thought I would have an ultrasound to make sure things were ok and to see how far along I was but nothing... I'm waiting on results from my hCg test.  I'm just looking for reassurance and praying nonstop.  My nausea isn't as bad as it was and my breast tenderness isn't as bad either---she said that wasn't a very good sign.  Any offerings of advice and prayers would be great!

Im sorry that you have to go through this. I miscarried at 11 weeks but started bleeding pinkish redish blood from 9 weeks, i also had no help or advice from my doctor. If the blood is bright red, and you say you have passed clots then i would suggest that you go to A&E and get checked straight away, it doesnt matter when your last period is they will scan you and check the baby. If your uterus is small then it means you not far along. Other then the loss of blood another sign of miscarriage is that your breasts are no longer tender /sore.  My thoughts are with you and i do hope everything is fine, good luck
