My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year. My doctor put me on Clomid and I just got my fallopian tubes checked today and found out that one of them is blockedBlocked tear duct :( . I am a mess I dont understand how one of them can be blockedBlocked tear duct. I never had an abortian never had a pelvicKegel exercises Pelvic adhesions Pelvic inflammatory disease (pid) Pelvic laparoscopy Prostatitis - nonbacterial Uterine prolapse infection never had adominanl surgery. He said sometimes your organsOrgan-1 nr move and sometimes can cause a fallopian tube to close. After he told me that I realized I ran the NY marathon and I trained 8 months. Could that be the cause? I got my period and I ovulated every month I kept track. I'm such a mess I just want to cry :( Please help
Don't worry... you're still able to conceive with one fallopian tube. Don't be upset. Did the Dr tell you to continue using the clomid? Just an fyi, my cousin had cysts and a blocked tube... but then the cyst burst and the tube had to be removed. She still went on to have another baby just like normal. I know that you are bummed out but promise that there are so many women that are just like you. Think positive, you still have a huge chance of conceiving!!!
hi hope i can bring you some comfort... i had a tube that was blocked i went to a fertility doctor and he did a liperscopic surgury and opened the tube. It is possible for them to open the tube. due to other female problems i was unable to concieve but they can open your tube and as long as you have the other and nothing is wrong with it you can concieve. I hope this calms you a bit and good luck with everything.
I too had an HSG that revealed one of my tubes was blocked. I just had laproscopic surgery in Dec. to open it. We will be taking fertility meds, and doing IUI this coming cycle. There are steps the doctor can take to help you out in your situation.
