Blood Flow in the Umbilical cord

Does anyone know what the short and or long term affects could be w/low blood flow in the umbilical cord?  Any help would be great or any URL that you could point me to read would be great.

I would think as long as there is blood flow all should be ok.  You may want to go to Google.com and type in umbilical cord and see what it brings up.  I took a look and it said that brain injuries could occur but I believe that was with no blood flow through the cord.  How did you become aware that there was slow blood flow???  What does your dr seem to think???  Good Luck and let us know what happens.  Take Care
