Blood HCG

I am in desperate need of some answers...

June 19 th was the last time I had unprotected i/c . I'm not sure, but I think I ovulated on Jun 20 or 21 st.

Is there any way that I could still be pregnant?? Wouldn't there be SOME sort of number ,even low by this time??

My MD is away until next Friday, so I can't speak to her...and I just really need to know.

have you tested yet? it is possible to get pregnant if you had unprotected sex within a few days of ovulation. you should be about 8 dpo so it may not show up until another 6 days go by if you are.

this is just now the point when many women experience implantation.

Sorry...I don't know why my post didn't post correctly...

I had a blood HCG done on June 28 ( yesterday) and it was zero...

So there is no way that I could be pregnant, right? Something would have shown up, even the tiniest number...

Not really, I think there is still a chance you could be pregnant and may not find out for another week or so. I had a blood test done it was 0 a few days later I found out I was pregnant (3 weeks).

you can still be pregnant, especially if the egg had not implanted yet. like i said before some girls are just now implanting. you'll need to test in about 6-7 days again

Not true.  You could be pregnant.  I got pregnant in May (I O'd on May 8th, which would have been CD 15.  At 10 DPO I had a blood test done and it was negative.  At 15 DPO I got a positive result on a HPT...so it's VERY possible that you're pregnant and it's just too early.  Like chelly said...you need to wait about 6 more days and test again.  Good luck!

Wow...do you know what blood test it was??

I know that the qualitative is less precise than the quantitative...

I took both, which is why I know that there is zero HCG present...

I guess I just have to wait it out...


I'm having another blood test on Monday...this one will be the tell all I imagine...

Well according to the guesstimated 8 DPO above, you would only be at 11 DPO on Monday....still could be too early.  Either quant. or qual. would have been (+) or (-) cut and dry.  The only difference between them is the qual. is a yes or no test and the quant. gives a measurable amount of hCG present.  Hopefully you'll know something soon!

Hopefully I will know one way or another...

I can't imagine that I am pregnant with a zero HCG right now...but hey, stranger things have happened!!!
