Blood from D&C or O?

Ok, I had D&C on 02/11/07, and stopped bleeding 8 days later.  Well last night I had a few sharp pains in my right abdomen, and today one instance of blood tinged mucus from my cervix when I was checking for CM.  But nothing more.  I had started bleeding in the middle of the night on 02/10/07 starting the miscarriage.  I was wondering if anyone O'd that soon after D&C & ended up pregnant.  Or thought they were and were not pregnant.  If I O this month, I would be fertile right now and DH and I have BD 4 times in the last 3 days bc I didnt think I could get preggers this soon after D&C.

Well..I was confused when I m/c back in Nov. about all of this and how it is supposed to work. You never mentioned what your hCG level is/was. Has your dr. been tracking that? I know from what I've been told on here is that you won't O unless your hCG level is back to zero. So, it really depends on where you're at on your numbers I guess. For me it took a LONG time for my numbers to drop (just went to zero about a week or two ago) but I've seen posts on here where ladies numbers dropped within a couple of days.

Hi,
I would get your HCG checked or take a home pregnancy test to see if it is still positive.  If it is still positive you probably just have some stuff left over from the M/C.  Sorry for your loss and I hope that you get pregnant really soon.  Lots of luck.

NO FOR SOME REASON MY DR HAS NOT BEEN TRACKING MY LEVELS SINCE THE d&c I think he is going to just wait and send me when I have my appointment.  And He'll do an US to make sure all of the tissue from the pregnancy is gone.  I should take HPT but I dont think I want to see pos. being that it would make me not pregnant right now...

It sounds like implantation bleeding. And yes you can get pregnant straight after a D&C, it usually happen 2 weeks after (it happened to me 3 weeks and 2 days later)I would take a HPT to make sure you have no HCG left from the mc, even if you are pregnant right now it is too early to have a positive, you would have one in 2 weeks. My Hcg was normal 2 wks after d&c and I o'd 2 days after it hit 0. I have had spotting and mid-cycle bleeding, too. Af came like clockwork after ovulation, even tho I had an Hcg of 55 at 10dpo and 4 at 12dpo. I got pg right after, just didn't stay. If I hadn't had b/w done I would have never known. Yes, you can get pg right after. There are at least 20 women on this forum who are living proof and are doing great. I'm hoping for this cycle.
