Breast feeding and dying hair

Hi,
before i was pregnant i used to dye my hair, during my pregnancy i didnt dye it and so you can imagine the roots!!!  i am desperate to dye it again but am breast feeding, does anyone know if it is safe to dye your hair whilst breast fedding?

I had mine done while bf. My stylist said as long as it wasn't being ground into the scalp or you are exposed to the fumes for a long period of time, it was fine.

If you can't stand to get a full dye job, go to a stylist and get some highlights and/or lowlights in the dyed color.  You can go a long, long time without your roots looking all nasty if you have a blend of colors on your head.  

ps -- I highlighted once during pregnancy and several times when breastfeeding.
