Breast feeding or Bottle or both?

Breast feeding or Bottle or both?

Just wondering how many of you are breast feeding, bottle feeding or supplementing breast feeding with bottles. Also, how long did you (or do you plan to) breast feed your baby? (that one will just be a question to answer rather than a poll question).

i pumped and bottle fed breastmilk to my 3 dds for about 4 months each (pumping is a lot of work) and then switched to formula.  right now i am exclusively breastfeeding ds and plan to do so as long as i can until he turns 1 year old.

I nursed Quinn until she was 7 months and she weaned herself. Switched to Smiliac and then whole milk when she was 1.

I breastfeed my ds 95% of the time. At night, a may give him a 4oz bottle to ensure some extra sleep but he usually is already full and only eats about an ounce. An there is no extra sleep :) He is 6 months 1 week :}

I thought about doing the same thing for my 5 and a half month old DD but when I put even a bit of formula into her pablum, she had a bad reaction so I decided it was not worth it (and pablum is not really helping her sleep through the night anyhow). My goal is to breast feed until she is 12 months and I hope to get there!

I breast fed both of my boys, but I am electing not to this time around, due to school. I am in the middle of nursing clinicals ( i know great timing) So worth it though. And my instructers are being so supportive, I'm in the last run of my BSN program, so I will have to go right back, they will let me more less just be there for the first couple of weeks, but I still have to go back imediatly (and it's my 3rd section) So I don't fore see pumping as an option, but I'm ok with it.

We had to supplement, pretty much from the third day after our son was born, but he also breastfed all the way through.  I weaned him from the breast at 20 months.

I breastfed both of my kids exclusively. Neither of them took a bottle a day in their life.  I nursed my daughter until 14 months (the last 2 months were just at night before bed) and I nursed my son for 12 months 9 days.  I'm planning on nursing this next one too but I'm not putting ANY time frames on it as I think it will be harder with 3!
