Breastfeeding Question

My son is a month old and I am breast feeding and formula feed.  He only has a bottle of formula at night because he sleeps better and sometimes he will drink one during the day when he is gassy or fussy.  (I use the Enfamil Gentle Ease)  Well, I am actually going to let my sister keep him over night tomorrow night because me and dh are staying at a resort (VERY close to home) just for the night for our anniversary.  I have been trying to pump so he will have breast milk while he is there and wont have to be formula fed the whole time. Well today, I fed him a bottle first thing this morning so I would have enough to pump.  He has only eaten twice since then and I have only pumped 3 ounces all day and I am completely dry.  Is this a sign that my milk is drying up or just maybe just a supply and demand issue.

i would say its a supply and demand issue, (from personal experience). and the only way to build suplies up is to let DS feed often from you.
Also are you using a hand or mechanical pump sometimes that can make a difference.

it's a supply demand thingim the same went out to a concert and had o pump it took me a day to get 4 oz in the end dh gave ds a bottle of formula cause he didn't want mummy milk from a bottle, otherwise just keep pumping to make more supply good luck

have you pumped before?  if it is the first time you will get way less than what you really have.  Also make sure you are still feeding him from the breast because the pump can make your supply go down a bit.  It will come back though when he starts feeding again when you get back.
