Breastfeeding

i just kinda want to poll you gals so i can know when did you breastfeeding mom's AF return?

I just posted a question about nursing/breasfeeding.

With my DD, My AF returned when she was about 9 mos.

I just started spotting this weekend and my son is almost 4 mos...old.

Also having some issues with providing enough milk for him while I work....not sure if the milk supply is effected by AF.

i have been pumping for 6 1/2 months with no period. i think i'm done weaning as of today, so i expect to see AF soon.

i was brastfeeding at first but have not for almost 1 month maybe a lil longer. and no  AF yet.. it will be 2 months after my baby was born.. will mine most likey come soon or not b.c i did breastfeed n then stopped cuz no milk was comig exceptaout 1 oza day when i was pumping.   (so bummed about it too)

I think it took about 9 months with my first dd.

Mine returned at approx 6 weeks with both babies. I'm still a frequent af'er :-(

AFter I began weaning at around 9 months

2 weeks after I completely weaned my son at 7 months.

I combination nursed and formula fed for about 5 months with my middle child....my af never returned after her becuase immediately upon ceasing nursing I got pregnant with my youngest.  I nursed/bottlefed him for about 3 or 4 months and my AF returned immediately after stopping.

I didn't get my AF until I weaned my son and he was 2 years old. Then I got pregnant with DD after 1st AF, she is 7 months and still breastfeeding. So I have only had one period since Jan 2004. Four years and one period....crazy huh!

My son is 15 mos and still no AF, I haven't had a period in over 2 years and loving it!! Since 2001 I have had less than a dozen periods: 3 full term pregnancies, 2 m/c's and over 40 mos of nursing. I am so not looking forward to her return! I have been spoiled.
