Bronchitis

by AngelaHack, Jan 01, 2004 12:00AM
I have been diagnosed with bronchitis and my doctor has prescribed an antibiotic for me, but I can't take them because they make me vomit all day long.  I'm concerned that if I don't take the antibiotic that the bronchitis may turn into something more serious and harmful to the baby.  Has anyone been in this situation and if so what did you do?

Have you made sure that you eat while taking them? You should make your Dr. aware of this and maybe he can change the medication. Good Luck! Shannon

Shannon is right; call your doc, even if it is after hours, and they will call in something else for you.  Out of courtesy, don't wait until very late at night to call.

Call before the pharmacies close, and have the # ready when the doctor calls you back.

To reach your doctor after hours, just call the office # and you will hear instructions on how to get the answering service.
