Brown Discharge in early pregnancy? Anyone else?

Hi. I am writing because I recently had m/c on 12/27. I conceived again 1/19 (on b/c). I am now 5+3 and I was wondering if any of you could help me with something, I am now having a very very light brown discharge and it is only when I wipe after going to the bathroom. I went to the dr today and saw to different dr's and one thinks I could be m/c again and one thinks it is nothing to worry about?  I had blood test done that was supposed to finished 3 hours ago to check my hcg and they cant find my resluts or the labs anywhere, so i have to get this done again tomorrow? my ? is did anyone else have this. I have all the prego symptoms and no m/c symptoms? i hate waiting to find out I just ned some encouragement. Thanx

I had a friend who had that and she has a healthy baby. I would be worried if it changed to bright red or heavy bleeding along with cramping. If you still have preg. symptoms, I think it would be possible that brown blood is old blood and not  as serious as if it were bright red...I hope that helps, I wish you all the best...

I am one week ahead of you, and had the same brown spotting LAST MONDAY.  I called the dr.  He had run hcg numbers the previous week, and they were normal.  He saw no need for concern, and didn't think I needed to see him.  It stopped about 24 hours later.  My first u/s is on Thursday.  I'm freaked, as my last pregnancy was a m/c.

In addition, when I was pg with my daughter, I had brown spotting for three weeks.  It started around wk 4, and ended at week 7.  She is 5 now, and perfect.

i am 8 weeks 3 days and had brown spotting mostly when i wiped for the past week. I also get it every time I have an ultra-sound.  However, the real reason why I had some brown spotting (and 1 day with some pink/red blood) was b/c I had a small clot.  They can go away on their own or sometimes you may bleed/spot a little.  My clot is gone and everything is looking good.

Are you having an u/s soon to see the sac/yolk? or to check for a clot?

I was told - if you are not bleeding threw 2 pads an hour and cramping, things are OK....

I'm in the same boat as your are, been spotting dark brown for 2 days, called the doctor and they saw me immediately for an utlrasound, showed a healthy vital fetus/sac/heartbeat, I'm still spotting but hoping there's nothing to worry about.

I am not sure you will read this. I had the same at around 6 weeks on three different days, some was browm some was pink and I even had a small clot and it was nothing to worry about. Doctors haven't got a clue when it comes to mc: with my mc I did not bleed at all, I had a D&C at 10 weeks because the baby had died at 7 and I had no idea, no symptoms, nothing, it showed in the scan! With this pregnancy I did bleed and it is fine. It could always go either way. Good luck

I have had brown discharge throughout pregnancy and I am 10 weeks 5 days.  I have also had two occasions of spotting and everything is fine so far.  I have had two miscarriages and my best advice is dont worry (ha ha) dont stress yourself out because what is going to happen is going to happen.  Its all in God's hands.  God Bless and I will be praying for you.

Hi I had very dark brown discharge for a week at around week 6 and then again for about 3 days at week 13. They couldn't give me any explaination for the bleeding but baby was fine. I'm now 27 weeks and everything seems to be going ok.

    This is my 4th pregnancy i too am having brown discharge and back ache have an ultra sound today at 12:00 feeling very anxious have never experienced anything like this in previous pregnancies.  Fingers crossed will let you know the outcome xxx
