I wouldn't worry too much about it, as brown blood is old blood. Do bring it up to your OB though at the next appt. SpottingVaginal bleeding between periods during pg is normalNormal saline flush and very common. You may or may not find out why. I'd only start to worry if it's bright red blood with cramping.
Hi I know its probably not what you want to hear but I think knowing both sides helps. What I will say first is if this has only just started it could be just old implantation blood.
I was brown spotting all the way through, no craps, no pain, Good HCG level that was doubling etc...I did miscarry, it turned out to be embryonic.
I truly hope that this is not what is happening to you. Many people have this and even really heavy bleeds and everything is fine. I would definatly bring it up though at the docs..
I have experienced brown spotting at 6 weeks during 3 of 4 pregnancies.
The first one was a succesful pregnancy....now 5 years old.
The second one unfortunately resulted in m/c.
The third time is a current pregnancy that has been ruled 'normal', and I am currently 11w3d, and have seen the baby 3 times.
Brown spotting is common, but about 40% of the time, results in m/c.
There is a high chance that everything is just fine. I would call your dr. on Monday, and see if they will get you in. They can see the hb at 6 weeks.
It is a really good sign if it comes and goes, and is not accompanied by cramps. Take care, and I wish you a healthy pregnancy!!
like every one else has said, brown discharge is ok, with my mc i had brown spotting for a day, and then it turned to bright red blood, along with little clots, i would be concerned if you begin to have bright red blood(like period blood) and if you pass any clots, other wise the odds are good,
I had brown spotting with one of my pregnancies and it was after my dh and I had had sex the night before. The doctor did say that brown was okay as it was old blood.
