CLOMID QUESTIONS

A question for any of you who have taken or do take clomid.  I took 3 cycles of clomid at 100mg.  then i took 1 cycle of 150mg all were taken days  5-9.  I would like to take it days 3-7 and have heard it may have a greater success.  Can anyone tell me there thoughts or successes.  I think i heard 3-7 = more eggs and 5-9 = eggs that are more mature.  any thoughts.

i dont know about the days but my dr. gave me 50 mg 2-6 days i had 4 cycles prev 3 cycles no sucess and now i am in tww of 4th cycle.

I took 50mg days 3-7.  Im not sure what the difference in the days are.  But good luck to you.  Oh and I was on it for 3 cycles!!  Now I am 22 weeks!

Now i am reading if it hasn't worked in 3-4 cycles it probably won't so i don't even know if i should put my body through the emotional wreck of taking it.  i will start seeing an RE in March or April of 2007 becuase the OBGYN doesn't monitor my cycles at all but i am left with the two prescritions and can't figure out if i should take them or not

I got pregnant while taking 100mg of Clomid days 3-7.

i think cd 3-7 sounds promising so thats what i am gonna try.  today is cd1 so 2 days left before i feel NUTTY!!! all over again

I would take them cause my friend was told that it should work by like the 6th cycle I think.  It usually dont work until cycle 3 or more.  I would take it cause you never know.  My dr. didnt monitor me either.  I only went in when I got AF to check for cysts.  Other than that, no u/s or nothing.

i m using 50mg clomid 2nd till 6th day of cycle its been 2 month using it both time i did ovulate monitered by doc but unsuccesful to concieve now 3rd cyclcle will start from tomorow b/c tomorrow will be my 2nd day  of periods.doc gave me more 3 month doze it will make total 6 months course.i never heard of using clomid for continious 6 months i m really worried.

My cycles without clomid are 28 days and with clomid 5-9 i am at 30 days.  I hear alot of women are unmonitored.  thats just not his thing i guess but i heard you only have to worry if you took it for more than a year and never actaully conceived. meaning even after that year.  if you never had children i heard it increased your risk for cancer.  I just need help deciding what days to take it

I would maybe try to take it days 3-7.  Never hurts to try I guess.  It may change your cycles tho.  So you had normal cycles but they gave you Clomid?  My cycles were 31 days by taking it days 3-7.  Everyone is different tho.  GOOD LUCK! Ask your dr if its ok to change days.

hi all,i was just reading your problems on clomid, i was actually on it for year and half.sadley didnt work for me,i notice you all mention what day to take it, i was told to take it day 5-9, i also tried sooner,however i will say when your doc test you to decide to put you on clomid,they determind the length of your cycle and other hormones, hence why women are put on it different times,i would suggest you take it at the perscribed days,and i know its hard but try to forget your trying to concieve,the more anxious you get the more it wont happen,and it will,good luck to allx
