Can Progesterone Supplementation and extra Open Forum if we need it

by Stacie30, Aug 23, 2004 12:00AM
hi girls- My Dr. has me on Prometrium (progesterone supplement) this month of TTC. I'm on CD 34 (usually have 28d cycle but last month with Clomid was 32).  Has anyone else taken this to TTC and did it make your cycle longer. I have some light cramping and lowerf back pain but other than that no PMS symptoms 9which is unusual for me. Also have (sorry for the TMI) a white cream like discharge- trying not to get my hopes up- anybody else been through this?

I have been taking Clomid and Progesterone... it definitely delays AF. I have gone 5 days late just cuz of the Prometrium.  Have you taken a preggo test yet??  I would start with that.
But hopefully you will get a postive!  Good luck.

Well- I took a test and got the same old BFN I always get. I know I ovulated around the 19th day of my cycle(LH surge on day 17 and 18 with day 21 progesterone level of 19.2) so being now on day 35 I think it's safe to say that I'm not preggo this month.

Man! remember the good old days when you got pregnant without even trying?

I'm going to give up the TTC game for now and go on BCP's to give myself a mental break from this roller coaster. I've been TTC for 4 years now (with a miscarriage in year 3) and I think I've had all I can take. At least I was able to have 2 healthy kids before PCOS got too bad. Trying to look at the bright side....
