Can i be pregnant after my depo shot

Hi my name is annie and i am 18 years old when i was 16 i gave birth to my first son and that same week i was put on birth control shot well on november 6 i had sex with my boyfriend and he came in well a week later i had my shot is there any chance that i killed my child or maybe is there still a baby there i really need to know so please tell me

If you had your shot on the regular shot, then the chances for you to get pregnant are very slim.  There are many of us on here who have tried for months and sometimes years to get pregnant due to the negative side effects of the depo shot.  I regret ever going on it.    

I honestly do not think you have anything to worry about as long as everything was on schedule.

I was also on the shot and it took me over a year to concieve (conceive).  So most likely your fine.  I totally regreat myself getting on it.

i got PG on birth the depo shot 2 times and it caused a m/c both times. i also have had 2 m/c's since i have been off depo....it causes reproductive disfunction.....and many other issues. i have a web site devoted to depo and what it did to me. here is the address, and feel free to contact me at anytime with questions.

Hi, i would like to say that no BC is 100%. I was on depo for 5 years never missed a shot and got pregnant with my youngest son. Anything is possibl...

I am 7 weeks pregnant and it was planned. I was on the depo-provera shot and it took me 7 months after getting off of it to conceive. According to the facts about the depro-provera shot, it can take up to 1 year to get pregnant after your last shot but, everybodies body is different. If you are not a fast breeder like myself, then you should be fine. Hope I was of some help. Good Luck!!!!

i took two depo shots and that was in 06 and every since then i havent got my period and now me and my husband are trying to concive and i am worried because i havent had my period in 2yrs.can anyone explain.i went to my obgyn and they gave me a blood test for hormones and the test came back i was alright but uh i think it is strange the i havent recived my period and i would love to add to my family again.i been married for 2 yrs and toghter for 5yrs.i want to know why i havent got my period in 2 yrs and why i cant concive.
