Can letrozole cause early ovulation?

Hi ladies.I had been on clomid 100 mg for the last 2 cycles(cd 2 to 6).The 1st month i ovulated on cd 13 and the following month it was on cd 14.However i didn't have any luck getting preggo in either of these cycles.As i had some side effects from clomid(like nausea,acidity etc.)my doc put me on letrozole 2.5 mg this month again from cd 2-6.I am currently on cd 11 and noticed a higher bbt this morning.Also i had ewcm for the past 3 days.Is it possible that letrozole caused me to ovulate early?Plz help!!!!

can i ask you a question--why did you start taking Clomid? i had my first m/c i January and I am trying not to overreact, but I just hope my body goes back to normal so we can get preg. soon.  I have heard about clomid, but under what circumstances are you prescribed it?  Just wondering.

I may have ovulated a day earlier on Letrozole, but I don't recall a significant difference in my O day, compared to Clomid.

I was prescribed clomid by my gynac bcoz everything else looked fine with me.She said there is no other reason why i am unable to conceive for 12 months.She asked me to take clomid for proper and better ovulation.
